Atea Jönköping Swimrun 35km-race

The starting signal of Atea Jönköping Swimrun will be give June 6th at 08:30 for all main distances. 35 kilometres is our middle distance, which suits anyone who wants a real challenge but nothing too extreme, and without having to tackle the worst hills. Prices, in the form of merchandise, is awarded to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd teams in each class.

The course is to a large extent shared with the 55 kilometres distance, but is cut off in Huskvarna. Thereby the 35 kilometre course is less challenging in terms of elevation than the 55 kilometre course, but still by no means an easy run. The course is composed of varying paths and roads, both asphalt, gravel, dirt roads and forest paths. In summary, the race is composed of 26.8 kilometres running (276 metres elevation) and 7.05 kilometres swimming, spread out over 17 run segments of 0.3-3.5 kilometres and 16 swim segments of 0.1-1 kilometres. Two changes have been made since 2018; the first run segment is now longer, to warm up and spread out the field of athletes before the first swim, and a new swim segment in Vattenledningsparken.
